For MomenTUm on Thursday, September 24 (The Party) and Friday, September 25 (graduation ceremonies, Academic Awards, and MomenTUm ceremonies), the TU/e Communication Expertise Center is looking for enthusiastic students to join the event team.
You’ll work a minimum of 3 hours and up to 8 or 9 hours. On Thursday, shifts will be in the afternoon and early evening. On Friday, shifts may start as early as 6:00 AM and run until 10:00 PM. Please indicate your availability so we can start planning shifts.
Your tasks
You enjoy answering questions from visitors and helping them find their way around campus. You’re enthusiastic, engaged, and energized by working together to make a large event successful.
As a MomenTUm staff member, you’ll act as a TU/e ambassador and host for students and their guests. Possible tasks include:
- Welcoming guests at the entrance and scanning their tickets (MomenTUm ceremonies)
- Seating guests (MomenTUm ceremonies)
- Guiding students to line up for the Walk of Fame (MomenTUm ceremonies)
- Assisting with graduation ceremonies (preparing materials and possibly handing out diplomas)
- Helping visitors navigate the campus and buildings
- Assisting with setup and breakdown in Forum (arranging chairs for both the Party and ceremonies)
Important
- If you require a work permit to work in the Netherlands, please note that we are unable to arrange a new permit for this short-term assignment. Due to the recruitment timeline and the processing time for work permits, only candidates who already have a valid Euflex work permit covering the event dates can be considered.
